FODENCO is a limited liability company doing business as a certified public accountant and business consultant. This organization specializes in performing value-added services for small & medium size businesses, including self-employed. Our focus is in manufacturing, real estate, legal, private equity, casino, hotel, food, retail, public & private, for-profit & not-for-profit.
Dr. Foday Y. Deen-Conteh is the Principal at FODENCO LLC. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 15 years of experience in working in industry with small medium and large size entities. He obtained a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a concentration in Accounting from George Fox University in Newberg Oregon. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Art with a concentration in Accounting, both from Saint Martin’s University in Lacey Washington.
Foday has experience in technical accounting research, financial reporting, SEC reporting, revenue recognition, lease accounting, complex account reconciliation, month end close, SOX testing, international accounting, internal auditing, accounting systems upgrade, accounting systems migration, quantitative & qualitative research, and data analysis. He has worked for public and private companies held positions as internal auditor, accounting manager, financial reporting manager, financial controller, and corporate controller. He has worked for and managed Finance/Accounting Department in businesses with annual revenue ranging from $25 million to $26 billion.
Foday was a Non-commissioned officer in the United States Army. He graduated at the top of his class and awarded for outstanding academic achievement in a military finance school at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service for keeping with the finest traditions of the United States Army. He was also awarded two Army Achievement Medals for Meritorious Performance reflecting leadership on his peers and direct reports. He was also awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal for exemplary behavior. Foday was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Service & Expeditionary Medals for military combat roles in the Middle East.
